The cafe has quite a unique concept as their menu focuses on mango-themed desserts. However, the flavors are not as unique. Good for first time visits and to just past the time but nothing much to return to.

$56 mango sago.I'm so disappointed by the tiny amount of chopped mango..I know this shop is in prime location, but service and quality doesn't match the reputation of Hui Lau Shan.I would rather tell friends try another branch or other local mango dessert cafes around the area. Serving is quick. Credit card is available if you spend more than $150.

Quite OK and reasonable. They have many varieties of congee.

Food was great, but service can be improved. We ordered the jumbo pomelo and mango set, but I nearly swallowed a piece of broken plastic when eating the mango. We showed it to the staff out of concern, but he retorted and questioned us about why it was dry if we found it in the bowl, etc. He reluctantly got us a new bowl after.

First of all: the taste of the mango desserts is good. But, the pictures in the menu and at the entrance show very nice desserts with a lot of real mango in each dessert and less ice cream. The reality is vice versa. I would have preferred to get what I see before. Anyway.

High prices and lack substance! They even have different prices for eat in or take out. Eat in price for my order was 40% higher than take out! I am sure there are many better desert places in HK!

It’s NOT surprisingly tasty for their fame. Maybe it’s too commercial. I bough a pack of lychee jelly as souvenir, but I don’t like its taste. I would prefer some other small local shops. Also, the food preparation time is so long.

My favourite drink in the world ! I’ve noticed the area I normally get Hui La Shan in Fanling I can purchase normal cup and Jumbo cup ! In central it’s a massive cup at least 0.5l it does cost more but it’s amazing ! I get the Mango Glutinous rice ball drink ! My favourite normally cost 26$ for small +2$ for jumbo so 28$ plus some mango pancake. Ps the Central size cups cost 48$ worth it !

If you don't visit while in Hong Kong, you're really missing out. The mango is fresh and their drinks are incredible

Have a refreshing cooling mango juice after you shed tears and sweat from endless shopping. Available as drink or desert, both equally good. Shop is small and seating tight. Better to buy and go. 👍🏻

The drink is not bad but not that awesome too. Buttttt the service is so so bad. They are so rude. Not worth it.

Absolute horrible customer service... The more I stay in hk... The more I realise its there culture.. We ordered a driink and even though the shop was completely empty they won't let us sit..... They should then remove the tables and chairs.

If you love mangoes, then this is the best shop for you to try in hong kong.

The desserts are good but a bit pricy for the quality and quantity. It's situated in a commercial area but still doesn't feel the desserts are worth the money.

The drink was below average. The sales dude was extremely rude. He held my hand while giving me changes, what a creep!!! We were asked for $9 HKD to sit down in the shop to have the drink here while there was no one in the shop at all. Extremely uncomfortable experience and don't recommend anyone to visit here.

Before go back to hotel, you can take some mango dessert from here. They are specialist making mango dessert and handmade dessert.

I've tasted sweeter mangoes and tastier iced desserts. Nevertheless, it's worth trying - mango sago!

Its great to enjoy something deeply refreshing after all the eating and shopping around Tsim Sha Shui. Although the shop is small, it is best if you order takeaway and enjoy at your accommodation. Sweet flavors but not too sweet & overpowering.

How the serve mango pudding with sour mango???!!! The pudding also taste no mango... very disappointing!!!

Heard so much about this place and had been going the past few years. The standard has dropped. Or other good joints have come up. This place is expensive and food is so so. I find the Lucky Dessert is nicer and more generous with mango. Service is not good either. Don't think I'll go again. Quite disappointing.

The mango was sour and one dessert was tasteless. Not impressed

If you are looking for a real mango shake, don't go to this place, it's full of sugar and they put jelly on it, a lot. I didn't like it. Maybe the desserts are good, I'm only speaking for fhe mango shake.

I would say that the standard might have dropped over the years with the opening of more outlets. But it is still a refreshing option to weather the summer heat. The coconut pudding with bird’s nest was one such option for consideration if you are willing to part with a little more to sample something different.

I believe Hui lau shan never dissapoints me. Taste always good. Bit pricey but worth it.

The mango sago is good and not that sweet. Great!
